Candidate for North Bay City Council
Strengthen households early by prioritizing prevention, supporting effective community organizations, and addressing problems before they become expensive crises.
Make City Hall visible and accountable with readable budgets, searchable votes, public consultant contracts, and clear follow-through on resident concerns.
Restore public order while preserving recovery by targeting traffickers, repeat offenders, theft and persistent disorder while keeping real pathways out for people who want them.
Restructure DNSSAB and bring services closer to accountability by bringing genuinely local services directly under City control and vertically integrating them with existing municipal operations, while returning genuinely provincial responsibilities to the Province.
Protect North Bay’s water by accelerating permanent PFAS treatment, protecting Trout Lake, and publishing important water measurements clearly. Make fluoride a personal choice rather than adding it to the only municipal drinking-water supply available to residents.
Expand attainable home ownership and household independence by using City land for small owner-occupied starter homes and allowing reasonable backyard food production.
Tend to the invisible by putting North Bay’s long-delayed water, sewer, flood-control and transportation infrastructure on one public priority list and advancing the highest-risk work before lower-priority expansion. Use the recurring savings identified in this plan to help accelerate that work first, with any responsible remainder available for property-tax relief.
